NEW ORLEANS — An unborn child died after the driver of a stolen car fled from state police and crashed into a concrete bridge support, leading to a feticide charge, authorities said.
Louisiana State Police were patrolling near Elysian Fields Avenue and North Claiborne Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday when they tried to stop a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro for traffic violations.
