There’s an ongoing joke between Connie Li and her younger yet much taller sister, Jennifer Li, both owners of a new Verona restaurant.
“Our parents … would divide food portions between the two of us,” Connie said. “Jennifer would always steal my food. We joke about that being the reason she’s taller than me and why her kids are taller than my kids.
“My kids will even joke with her, ‘I’m short because you stole mom’s food!’”…
