Sheridan Soaked Again As Second Weekend Water Main Mess Stalls Westminster Traffic

Sheridan Boulevard turned into a weekend headache in Westminster again, as the city shut down part of the busy corridor Sunday so crews could tackle yet another water main break. It was the second weekend in a row that the same stretch of road failed, grinding traffic into a slow crawl and sending drivers onto detours while workers dug into the asphalt to stop the leak and patch the line.

According to CBS News Colorado, repair crews were back out Sunday to fix the damaged main and get lanes reopened after last weekend’s break. The outlet’s video showed workers on site and traffic control flagging vehicles around the construction zone.
