Teachers on Tour is a social media series started by three teachers where they visit different ice cream shops to rate the ice cream, ambiance and environment.
They post the series on Instagram and TikTok. As of February 2026, they have gained around 350 followers on Instagram and around 150 on TikTok since the start of their series.
“It started because on our professional development days, when we get an actual lunch break,” said Krista Jones, a second-grade teacher at Valley view Elementary School. “We started going to Skoops in Barberton for our lunch break… we thought that it was funny, and then we were saying… over the summer, ‘Oh let’s go for a ride in the fun mobile. Come and pick us up, Joy.’ Then we started saying we should go get ice cream at many places, so it just evolved from the lunchroom.”…
