YPSILANTI, MI — An Ypsilanti drag performer is marking a career milestone with a series of community fundraising events scheduled for mid-March, according to a March 9 email.
Jadein Black will celebrate 18 years in drag and her birthday with three performances across Ypsilanti from March 14 to March 15. The weekend will raise money for Ann Arbor Pride and a local high school band department, as well as offer free entertainment to the community.
The celebration kicks off Saturday, March 14, with a drag brunch fundraiser at Sidetrack Bar & Grill, 56 E. Cross St., in Ypsilanti to benefit Ann Arbor Pride. Seating begins at noon with performances starting at 12:30 p.m. The all-ages event costs $13, with brunch sold separately…
