BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A plea deal has been reached in connection with the death of a 78-year-old man who died months after being punched in the head.
Larcellus Scott, 42, on Friday pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter and faces 18 years in prison, according to prosecutors and court records. A murder charge was dismissed and a sentencing hearing scheduled April 2.
