Martinez Tosses Complete Game Shutout as Renegades Open Conference with Win

GLENDALE, CA – The Bakersfield College softball team opened conference play with a strong performance on Thursday, defeating Glendale 2–0 on the road at Glendale Sports Complex.

Alexia Martinez led the way for the Renegades, delivering a complete-game shutout in the circle. Martinez scattered seven hits across seven innings, striking out five and issuing no walks to earn her fifth win of the season.
