Man convicted in Framingham girl’s ’96 death seeks parole. What’s next

Damien Lockhart is apologizing. The family of Kimberly Bolton is unmoved.

Lockhart, a former Framingham man convicted of killing Bolton, who was just 17, in 1996, apologized to her family as he appeared Thursday, March 5, before the state Parole Board in Natick. Lockhart, now 52 and using a walker, has been denied in four previous attempts to get parole.

“Kimberly, who I believe would have been 47 this year, did not get a chance to grow because of my actions,” said Lockhart, who appeared to shed tears during his testimony. “I took away her future, her relationships, the love she would have had and continue to get, and the moments you would have shared with her. Kimberly’s life had immeasurable potential. I know the loss is something you can never move past. It’s something you live with every day.”…
