SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – It is a calm start to the work week with no watches, warnings, advisories, or special weather statements currently posted for the Suncoast.

Our new work week begins warm and quiet with mostly clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will quickly climb after sunrise, reaching the mid-80s this afternoon.

Winds start light, then turn west around 5 to 7 mph during the afternoon as the Gulf sea breeze develops. Skies stay mostly sunny, although a stray inland shower cannot be ruled out later in the day. Tonight remains mostly clear and mild with lows around the mid-60s and light winds…
