North Hills is about to get a lot more saucy. Vic’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria, the family-run Raleigh spot beloved for its New York style pizza and stick-to-your-ribs pastas, is planning a new location on Six Forks Road. The expansion will push the Longo family’s reach beyond their longtime City Market and Lake Boone Trail dining rooms, giving North Hills regulars a closer fix for big slices and classic red-sauce favorites in the fast-growing retail district.
Owner-operators confirmed the Six Forks side of North Hills as their next address as part of a broader growth push, according to Triangle Business Journal. The piece, published March 9, 2026, credits reporter Kate Tracy with breaking the news.
Why North Hills?
North Hills, the mixed use hub wrapped around Six Forks Road and the Beltline, has turned into one of Raleigh’s busiest retail corridors as developers convert the former mall into denser housing and shopping. That transformation has made the area a magnet for restaurant deals and new concepts in the Park and Main districts, as Axios Raleigh reported.
Vic’s local footprint and menu
Vic’s traces its roots to Mario Longo and his family and now lists several Triangle locations, including its City Market spot at 331 Blake St. and a Lake Boone Trail restaurant on its official pages. The company also keeps a “Coming soon” message live for another Raleigh site on its website, although no formal opening date has been posted. Fans know Vic’s for its hand tossed New York style pies, stromboli and generous pasta plates, staples it will likely carry over to the Six Forks location…
