CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A motorcyclist died following a collision with a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Chesapeake, according to police.
Kempsville Road reopens after serious motorcycle crash in Chesapeake
A motorcycle traveling south on Kempsville Road at the intersection of Huntington Woods hit a vehicle making a left-hand turn. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the rider.
The rider, identified as 22-year-old Devin Keshawn Smith, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and subsequently died.
