The Chino Police Department released body camera footage Monday of officers shooting a man armed with a knife at a Chino home on Nov. 16, 2025.
The shooting happened while officers were responding to a domestic violence call on the 16250 block of Homecoming Drive. In the video, officers are seen entering the home and telling 29-year-old Royce Johnson of Anaheim to drop the knife before shooting him multiple times.
Before police arrived, the woman inside the home was heard saying “don’t kill me” and “don’t stab me,” according to a neighbor who called 911. When officers arrived, Johnson was holding a kitchen knife aggressively toward a woman inside the home, according to Chino PD…
