‘A nightmare’: Family mourns father killed in Knox County shooting

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A Knoxville man is dead after a shooting Friday evening at a gas station along Chapman Highway in South Knox County. Jackie Ogle, 34, was killed after being shot multiple times. His daughter, Aliza Rhea Cartor Ogle, and the mother of his daughter, Ashley Rismiller, spoke with 6 News following the incident.

Rismiller said it’s been hard to process everything as it happened so fast, she says the hardest part is seeing a daughter without her dad.

“He didn’t deserve this. None of us do. I can’t imagine somebody else having to go through this. It’s been hard. It’s been real hard,” explained Rismiller.
