A man is facing charges after allegedly shooting his wife accidentally in their Miami Springs home, police and family members said.
Michael Martinez, 41, is facing charges of culpable negligence and improper exhibition of a firearm in the shooting that happened Sunday night at a home on Esplanade Drive, an arrest report said.
Miami Springs Police had responded to the home along with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, who airlifted the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, the report said.
