A precautionary lockdown at Saul Martinez Elementary School in Mecca, California was lifted Monday afternoon after deputies investigated a reported threat and determined there was no danger to students or staff.The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and Coachella Valley Unified School District confirmed to NBC Palm Springs that the lockdown lasted about an hour.Deputies from the Thermal Sheriff Station responded after receiving a report that a threat had been made.
