Driver on ‘life-sustaining medical equipment’ after rollover crash in Irondequoit

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A driver is on “life-sustaining medical equipment” after his pickup truck crashed and rolled over at the traffic circle of Seabreeze Drive and Titus Avenue on Monday.

Irondequoit Police say they found the driver, 44, unconscious. First responders had to pull him from the truck before starting emergency medical care.

The crash happened around 2:10 a.m. near the end of I-590. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw the truck with a heavily damaged front and airbags deployed. According to police, the driver lost control at the traffic circle. Officers say the truck’s bed had a diesel fuel tank that leaked after the crash, leading to a Hazmat situation…
