A man from Mexico was arrested for driving without a license after being stopped on the Florida Turnpike without headlights on in the fog.
A trooper saw 48-year-old Oswaldo Gonzalez driving a white Ford F-350 on the turnpike in Leesburg around 7:40 a.m. Saturday Feb. 28, according to an arrest report from the Florida Highway Patrol. His headlights were off in the fog, leading to a traffic stop on the northbound exit ramp 296 to County Road 470.
When asked for his driver’s license, Gonzalez did not have any form of ID on him. A check of his driving history revealed he had a suspension from 2021, after which he had only an ID, the report said…
