Fort Worth ISD to offer free meals for all children at these 8 schools

FORT WORTH, Texas — Spring break can mean fewer meals for many North Texas children. Fort Worth ISD is working to combat food insecurity by offering free meals at eight of its schools, the district announced.

Fort Worth ISD will serve free, hot lunch to anyone under the age of 18, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the district, starting March 17, the district said in a press release. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 17-19, at eight campuses the release states.

Meals will be available at the following campuses:

  • Western Hills Elementary: 2805 Laredo Drive, 76116
  • Clifford Davis Elementary: 4300 Campus Drive, 76119
  • Diamond Hill Elementary: 2000 Dewey Street, 76106
