Green Bay-area consumers might be affected by these February recalls

Since the start of February, a number of retailers in Wisconsin have been issued recalls. These recalls can be tracked on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service website.

Green Bay-area consumers should check to see if they’ve purchased any of these products and should dispose of them properly.

Aldi frozen meatballs recalled for ‘metal fragments’

Rosina Food Product, Inc. recalled more than 9,000 pounds of ready-to-eat, frozen meatballs on Feb. 22 after a consumer complained to the company about finding metal fragments in the product.

The recalled products are Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs with a best by date of Oct. 30, 2026. The packages were produced on July 30, 2025 and have a timestamp range printed on the label: 17:08 to 18:20. The establishment number is “EST. 4286B.”…
