Jackson councilman proposes reward to help solve furniture store break-in

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Councilman Kenneth Stokes, Ward 3, asked for help to solve a recent break-in at a Jackson business.

Stokes said he plans to propose a $2,500 reward during the City Council meeting on March 10, 2026, for information related to the January break-in at Martin’s Furniture and Appliances.

The councilman said neighborhood businesses, like Martin’s, play an important role for many people in the community.
