Lincoln Police to increase impaired driving enforcement ahead of St. Patrick’s Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – As St. Patrick’s Day celebrations approach, the Lincoln Police Department is reminding the community that luck should not be your plan for getting home safely.

From March 13 through March 21, LPD will conduct a high-visibility enforcement campaign specifically targeting impaired drivers. During this time, LPD will deploy additional officers on overtime to patrol Lincoln’s streets and proactively identify drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
