Milwaukee Manhunt As Marshals Hunt Teen In Alleged Carjacking Spree

U.S. Marshals are combing Milwaukee neighborhoods for 16-year-old Elijah McCorkle, who authorities say is tied to a 2024 carjacking and shooting spree that stretched across the city and into nearby suburbs. Officials say McCorkle posted a $30,000 bond, was placed on GPS monitoring, then allegedly cut off his tracking bracelet and vanished. He is considered armed and dangerous, and authorities are urging anyone who sees him not to approach him.

According to FOX6 Milwaukee, investigators say McCorkle and his friends drove through Milwaukee during a weekend in October 2024 looking for victims and were linked to more than six carjackings and at least one shooting. Police used license plate cameras and fingerprint evidence to connect him to the incidents, and prosecutors charged him as an adult after his arrest, the outlet reports…
