Sedgwick County judge orders mobile home dealer to pay $70,000 judgment

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Two unlicensed mobile home dealers in Sedgwick County were hit with an over $70,000 judgment last week for deceptive acts.

Zachary and Krystle Storm, who operated Twister City Mobile homes, were found to have committed five violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act.

The Consumer Protection Division in the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office accused the Storms of acting as mobile home dealers and brokers without proper licensure, failing to deliver titles in a timely manner, overcharging for lot rent, and failing to notify buyers of their three-day right to cancel.
