LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A grand opening for Cadence Crossing, a neighborhood casino on Boulder Highway in Henderson, is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, according to Boyd Gaming officials.
Henderson officials and Boyd Gaming executives are expected to be on hand for a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony leading up to the noon public opening of the casino, which will feature more than 450 slot machines, two restaurants, a center bar and a lounge.
New Henderson casino opening set for late March in southeast valley
The casino’s debut comes as Boyd Gaming transitions to Cadence Crossing, which replaces the Joker’s Wild casino at the same site. The new casino has about twice as many slots as Joker’s Wild.
The first phase is expected to be followed by additional amenities at the site. Residential growth in the area, particularly the Cadence master-planned community, is expected to fuel demand for the casino and potential expansion phases…
