CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Calls made from the scene of a road-rage shooting near a northeast Charlotte Food Lion reveal the panic and confusion from those who witnessed the Feb. 19 incident.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, the shooting happened at about 4:30 p.m. in the shopping center parking lot at 7400 The Plaza. Officers allege 55-year-old James Rothwell fired into three vehicles that were occupied at the time.
