CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – For only the second time in 214 years, the site of the former Kern Nursery, a Christmas tree farm, is for sale for $5 million, spanning nearly 87 acres in Liberty Township.
The parcel of land at 6099 Millikin Road was listed for sale Feb. 19 by Michael and William Hines of Oyler Hines Coldwell Banker Realty. The property supports both residential and agricultural uses, opening a range of possibilities from neighborhood developments to a private estate.
The land has history dating back to 1812, when it was acquired by the Pocock family, original Butler County log cabin pioneers. The family operated the property as a farm until it was sold to Carl Kern Jr. in 1959.
