Cumberland County man shackled after fighting, injuring PSP Troopers, court docs show

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Cumberland County man had to be put into shackles after allegedly fighting multiple Pennsylvania State Police Troopers, court documents show.

Bail was denied for Donald Thomas, 67, of Carlisle, after he was arraigned on three felony aggravated assault and other charges stemming from the Sunday incident along Crossroad School Road in West Pennsboro Township, according to online court records.

The criminal complaint filed by State Police at Carlisle said Thomas was reportedly walking in the middle of the road and yelling profanities, disturbing neighbors before Troopers arrived around 2:19 p.m…
