Downtown Grand Rapids block party returns for St. Patrick’s Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Saturday, participating businesses across Grand Rapids’ Monroe North neighborhood will host the second annual Irish Remedy block party and music festival to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

“We want to encourage engagement and keeping the money local to Grand Rapids,” said Megan Bowman, CEO of Remedy Collective.

Starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, nearby venues like City Built Brewing Company, SpeakEZ Lounge and SILVA will welcome visitors during the second annual Irish Remedy, hosted by entertainment company Remedy Collective.

“Our whole goal of our business is really to bring community together,” Bowman said. “To celebrate music, art, culture and each other.”

Event guests are encouraged to participate in a stamp rally as they visit each participating business and enter to win exclusive prizes after the event ends around 8 p.m…
