Elberta Community Prepares For Beloved Sausage Festival

Nearly 200 vendors and plenty of food options will fill Elberta Town Park.

Elberta, Ala. — (OBA) — The Elberta German Sausage Festival is returning to Baldwin County, showcasing its signature flavors and community spirit. Presented by Brown Helicopter, the event is one of Elberta’s most beloved local traditions, attracting thousands of visitors for a day of food, fun, and fellowship. Admission is free, and the celebration provides entertainment for all ages.

The festival will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, beginning at 8 a.m. at Elberta Town Park. The spring edition of the event acts as a major fundraiser for the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department. Funds raised will also support community initiatives, local charities, and ongoing efforts to ensure the twice-yearly festival continues to thrive for future generations.

Festival-goers can explore nearly 200 arts and crafts vendor booths and several community organization stands. The main attraction, as always, is the famous Elberta German Sausage, served hot and fresh throughout the day.
