NORRISTOWN — A member of the Pagans Outlaw Motorcycle Gang accused of conspiring with eight other club members during a confrontation and shooting with a rival biker gang outside a Wawa in West Norriton argued prosecutors lack evidence against him and that the charges should be dismissed.
“There’s no evidence at all that he had a gun or was involved in a shooting,” defense lawyer Brendan M. Campbell argued on behalf of Manuel Baez-Santos during a pretrial hearing in Montgomery County Court on Monday.
Baez-Santos, 34, also known as “Machete,” of the 2800 block of Stanbridge Street in Norristown, is awaiting trial on charges of aggravated and simple assault, conspiracy, riot and recklessly endangering other persons in connection with the 9:12 p.m. Oct 17, 2025, altercation and shooting that occurred with two members of the rival Unknown Bikers Motorcycle Gang on the parking lot of the Wawa at 2544 W. Main St. in West Norriton, during which six people, including two innocent bystanders, were wounded…
