A woman was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after she was accidentally run over by a St. Lucie County Fire District golf cart at the St. Lucie County Fair, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and the St. Lucie County Fire District.
Deputies assigned to the fair responded around 5:46 p.m. to the north side of the midway near the “Mama Jugs” drink stand, where they found a 49-year-old woman on the ground with scrapes across her body. Fire rescue crews and fairgoers were already tending to her, according to the incident report…
