Crowd surrounds officers making arrests on Monroe Avenue, Rochester police say

Rochester, N.Y. — Two women face charges following an overnight incident that led to a crowd surrounding officers on the city’s southeast side, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Police said officers on Monroe Avenue near South Goodman Street saw a 51-year-old woman damaging a street sign around 12:48 a.m. Tuesday.
