TALLAHASSEE, Florida — The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to a significant fire at a Marathon gas station on West Orange Avenue early Sunday morning.
At 3:14 a.m. on March 8, firefighters arrived to find the single-story commercial building fully engulfed in flames. The business was closed and unoccupied at the time, according to a press release from the Tallahassee Fire Department. Due to the intensity of the fire and concerns about the building’s structural stability, crews initially conducted a defensive attack from the exterior.
