PHOTOS: Rep. Byron Donalds campaigns in Boca Raton, plans to keep state’s ‘momentum’

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Congressman Byron Donalds stopped by the Griddle Diner in Boca Raton on Saturday morning, meeting with voters as part of his campaign for governor.

Dozens of supporters filled the diner, lining up to shake hands, take photos, and hear Donalds outline his vision for Florida’s future. The congressman told the crowd he wants to maintain what he calls Florida’s “momentum,” and he asked voters for their support in the upcoming Republican primary.

After greeting supporters, Donalds, who currently represents the 19th District of Florida, sat down with CBS12’s Jim Grimes to discuss the top issues facing Floridians, addressing concerns he says he hears consistently on the campaign trail.
