CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – With the arrival of brighter evenings and longer days, the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority (RSWA) has announced that the McIntire Recycling Center will be extending its hours.
Beginning Monday, March 9, the center will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., one hour later than its winter hours.
The RSWA hopes this will allow the community to take advantage of the sunlight. The facility is open from Wednesday through Monday and is closed on Tuesdays…
