‘Threatening call’ prompts security checks at Snider, North Side high schools

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A “threatening call” prompted security checks Tuesday morning at Snider and North Side high schools.

FWCS Security and officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to Snider, where students and staff were placed under lockdown for about 20 minutes, according to the message sent to families.

Near Snider’s campus, Glenwood Park Elementary and Lane Middle School followed a Secure Procedure, meaning everyone stayed inside with the doors locked…
