Man’s barricaded standoff with Toledo police ends with arrest

TOLEDO, Ohio — A man is in custody following a standoff late Friday at his home with Toledo police, during which he fought with SWAT officers who forced entry into his residence, according to an incident report.

Crencencio Morales, 39, is charged with inducing panic, two counts of aggravated menacing, strangulation, domestic violence, and two counts of assault on a police officer. He was scheduled for arraignment Monday morning in Toledo Municipal Court before Judge Joshua Lanzinger.
