NEW ORLEANS — Mayor Helena Moreno is demanding urgency and a clear plan from the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans after another water main break flooded streets in Carrollton and triggered a boil water advisory.
The latest break happened Monday near the intersection of Panola Street and Carrollton Avenue, sending water gushing into the street and flooding nearby homes and vehicles. It marks the city’s third major water main break this year.
