METAIRIE, La. (WVUE) – Firefighters responded to a house fire on Transcontinental Drive in Metairie early Tuesday morning.
Video from the scene shows flames tearing through the home before crews arrived. In footage captured later, multiple fire units were on scene working to bring the blaze under control.
As of the latest update, the fire appeared to be under control, with smoke visible coming from the roof. Crews remained on scene monitoring hot spots, with some flames still visible at the roofline…
