The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office says a jury has found 27-year-old Ladarius Parker, of Montgomery, guilty of first-degree murder in a 2021 shooting in Montgomery.
Prosecutors say Parker shot and killed 30-year-old Christopher B. McMorris, of Aurora, while he sat in a parked car in the 1700 block of Stonegate Drive. The shooting happened May 21 after a party in the area.
