Last Thursday afternoon, San Antonio native Rene Villarreal Albe was faced with a life-or-death situation while driving to pick up his wife’s car from the dealership on the city’s Northeast Side.
Albe and his wife, Andrea Walker, owners of True Steel Welding and Construction, were traveling on Loop 410 near Harry Wurzbach Road in one of their Dodge work trucks when they saw a Toyota 4Runner veering out of control across multiple lanes.
In a cellphone video Walker recorded from the passenger seat – which has amassed 3.6 million views since she posted it on TikTok last week – she can be heard saying, “Somebody needs to stop him. What are we going to do?” as the SUV driver sideswipes a concrete barrier on the right side of the highway before continuing down the road…
