North Tulsa residents clean up after tornado as families face personal hardships
TULSA, Okla. – Residents in the North Tulsa area experienced the disastrous tornado that ripped through on Friday night. No major injuries or deaths were reported there, but neighbors say this only adds to their burdens.
Second Time Around
Robert Cook was busy cutting up tree limbs when News On 6 stopped by his home near 46th and St. Louis. Cook says this was the second time he has experienced a tornado at his residence. The first time was in 2013, when he and his family took cover in the bathroom, just as they did most recently.
“It is unbelievable. Twice, so many years, and then it happens, and it happens again. It is crazy, but it is God’s work,” he said…
