St. Patrick’s Day takes place this year on Tuesday, March 17, and the Celtic Bayou Festival will be held in Lafayette March 13-14, making all things Irish the theme of the weekend.
The festival was founded by Tony and Sheila Davoren in 2016 to celebrate their Irish heritage, along with everything they love about living in Acadiana — the food, the music and dancing, and the camaraderie, most of all.
