KAILUA, Hawaii (Island News) – The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responds to a house fire reported in the Kailua area Monday morning.
Firefighters HFD responded to the area of Kaimake Loop in Kailua, and had water on the fire by 11:36 a.m. Investigators with HFD were dispatched to the scene along with the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The fire was deemed under control at 11:55 a.m. and it was reported that a woman and a dog were home when the fire started and both exited the building safely.
