AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Money laundering charges were dropped Tuesday against former FirstEnergy Executives Charles Jones and Michael Dowling, who are on trial in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas for their alleged roles in the Ohio House Bill 6 bribery scandal.
Summit County Court of Common Pleas Judge Susan Baker Ross cited insufficient evidence.
