Deputy pulls car over, finds 16-year-old girl who has been missing for a month

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A teenager reported missing from North Carolina was found during a traffic stop in Florida on Sunday night.

The 16-year-old girl was found when a deputy stopped a speeding vehicle on U.S. Highway 17 near Crescent City, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

The 37-year-old driver from Charlotte, North Carolina, named by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office as Joshua Magraff, first told deputies the passenger was his cousin, but the 16-year-old girl said she was 12 and gave more misleading information about her identity…
