OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Tennessee woman died at the Christian County Jail on Saturday, shortly after she was found to be in possession of oxycodone during a traffic stop in Oak Grove.
Just after 3 a.m. on March 7, deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Winners Way in Oak Grove. The vehicle was traveling 58 mph in a 45-mph zone, according to an arrest report.
Deputies noted that the vehicle smelled like marijuana, and a probable search was conducted. A marijuana blunt was located in the center console along with a clear plastic bag containing three white pills. 31-year-old Zoe Johnson from Brentwood, Tennessee was a passenger in the vehicle, and she claimed ownership of the pills. The pills were identified as an oxycodone and acetaminophen combination, and Johnson disclosed they were her prescription from a recent surgery…
