Warm for now, Next round of storms bring temperature change in couple days

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Our next system moves in mid-week and brings down the temperatures for a couple days late in the week. Temperatures start to go up again over the weekend before plummeting next week.

What to expect through mid-week

Tuesday will start with clouds and/or fog. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy during the afternoon. Aside from a few isolated showers, it will be dry. Highs between 81 and 85 degrees.

Partly cloudy Tuesday night. Lows early Wednesday will mostly be in the low 60s.

Warm and breezy Wednesday. Partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 80s. Most of the day stays dry, but a stronger cold front approaches Wednesday night. Widespread rain and storms move in Wednesday night and Thursday morning starting around 2 AM ET. Some storms could be strong to severe through sunrise or so.
