High Point man who shot at group of people multiple times on Denny Street faces multiple charges, police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A High Point man faces multiple charges after shooting at a group of people over the weekend, according to a High Point Police Department news release.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a shots fired call in the 300 block of Denny Street.

Witnesses said a man, later identified as Steve Perry, 61, of High Point, shot at a group of people multiple times and then ran toward his home on Richardson Avenue, about 300 feet away…
