Update: PennDOT announced at 2 p.m. today that the detour will start this afternoon around 3 p.m.
A detour that was supposed to start yesterday for Milroy Road at the Route 322/Chambers Hill Road intersection improvement project in Swatara Township, Dauphin County, has been delayed.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the detour will allow the contractor to complete work on the road and roundabout at the intersection of Milroy and Grayson roads. The detour is expected to last up to six months…
